The Deutsche Aidshilfe represents the interests of people with HIV/Aids. The Deutsche Aidshilfe also occupies itself with the topic of migration. And with HIV prevention for people who were not born in Germany.

The Arbeits-Gemeinschaft AIDS-Prävention NRW works in the field of HIV/Aids-prevention in North-Rhine-Westphalia. The Arbeits-Gemeinschaft has 13 members. Some of these members are: the Ministry of Health of North-Rhine-Westphalia, representatives of six cities and the so-called Freie Wohlfahrts-Pflege (Independent Welfare Association). Among other things, the Arbeits-Gemeinschaft gives recommendations on the topic of HIV-prevention.

The   Landes-Kommission AIDS advises the government of North-Rhine-Westphalia. The Landeskommission wants to stop Aids. Migration is an important subject. For example, the Landeskommission has done research on problems of refugees with HIV. The Landeskommission has recommended ways to help these people.
