Health is a human right

In Germany, health is a human right. This applies to every person who lives in Germany, no matter where this person is born. And every person in Germany has the right to health care.

In Nordrhein-Westfalen there are many people from Sub-Saharan Africa. Here, this group is bigger than in other parts of Germany. But unfortunately, many people from Sub-Saharan Africa don’t know enough about the German health care-system.  For example, they often don’t know that there are free testing possibilities.

That is why people from Sub-Saharan Africa Menschen must have better access to health care. This is important for a successful integration and social inclusion. And it is also important for the prevention of HIV/Aids. And in addition, the access to health care improves the sexual health.
